Open your Bible to almost any page and you'll find something extraordinary happening.

The Bible is saturated with supernatural power.

Yet somehow, modern Christianity has convinced millions of believers that the supernatural is either something that only happened "back then," dangerous territory best avoided, or the exclusive domain of evil.

This is one of the greatest spiritual deceptions in history.

Seers, Psychics, and Prophets: The Bible's Supernatural Practitioners

The modern church treats the word "psychic" like a curse word. But the Bible is filled with people who operated in what we would today call psychic abilities.

Before they were called prophets, they were called seers—people who could see beyond the physical realm. "Formerly in Israel, if someone went to inquire of God, they would say, 'Come, let us go to the seer,' because the prophet of today used to be called a seer." (1 Samuel 9:9)

These weren't fringe figures. They were respected members of Israelite society. People sought them out specifically for their supernatural perception. Kings consulted them before battles. Families visited them to find lost property.

The Bible also documents God's people using divination-like practices with divine approval: The Urim and Thummim (sacred objects for receiving answers from God), casting lots (used even after Pentecost), dream interpretation (Joseph and Daniel), and signs and fleeces (Gideon).

Modern Christians often act as if curses are superstition. The Bible disagrees completely.

Here's what most churches completely miss: The great acts of God often came as responses to—or demonstrations superior to—existing magical practice.

The Bible spoke of mystical men who wielded evil magic, just as the Prophet Moses wielded the magical powers of a God. The miracle of turning the rod into a serpent was done through the obedience and tutelage of Moses, just as well as the wicked enemies of God.

Moses and Pharaoh's magicians weren't operating in different categories. They were operating in the same supernatural territory with different sources of authority.

They both had the same power, until the arrival of Jesus Christ, and he became the ultimate authority.

The confrontation wasn't "real power vs. fake power." It was "authorized power vs. unauthorized power." Both were genuine. One was legitimate.

There is only one magic, and a centralized authority under the Christ figure who comes from God. He chooses who he sets up, and who he takes down.

The Supernatural Technology of Israel

Israel's entire religious system was built on supernatural technology:

The Tabernacle and Temple weren't merely symbolic. The Ark of the Covenant was so charged with power that touching it improperly caused instant death. The Holy of Holies was a contained portal between dimensions.

Sacred objects carried genuine supernatural charge: Aaron's rod budded supernaturally. The bronze serpent healed those who looked upon it. Elisha's bones resurrected a dead man who touched them.

You can't be in Christ without ritual upon you. Baptism is a basic clearing. Prayer and Christening is a basic clearing.

The Bible assumes ritual efficacy. It never questions whether rituals "work"—it only specifies which rituals are authorized.

The New Testament: Supernatural Power Democratized

Something shifted dramatically with Christ. Supernatural power, previously concentrated among prophets, priests, and kings, became available to all believers.

Everything that Jesus produced in the Bible came from his internal realm of power—and it manifested in the physical. Seek the spirit first.

The book of Acts shows Peter's shadow healing the sick, Paul's handkerchiefs carrying healing power, prison doors opening supernaturally, angelic deliverances, visions guiding journeys, prophecy directing leadership.

To proceed with spiritual testing may involve spiritual mistakes. The mistakes expose us to the perfect answers beyond the demonic realm, and soon we are able to discern the answers and instruction from the angelic realm.

The Question the Church Avoids

If the Bible is filled with supernatural power, why does the modern church act as though it doesn't exist?

Churches that are demonic can grow because they represent what people are accustomed to, and unwilling to purge blockages.

A powerless Christianity is easier to manage. If congregants experienced genuine supernatural power, they would ask difficult questions and become less dependent on institutional mediation.

There is a church within every church that is unseen and unspoken. It's the church that comes from the angelic side, which leads to full transformation.

The Bible presents a world where supernatural power is real and available to multiple sources—but with a hierarchy of authority that determines legitimacy and outcome.
